Unprecedented equipment choice and flexibility
As part of the US based NEP Group of Companies, NEP Visions is part of the largest truck based OB company in the world, and as such enjoys the benefit of access to an unprecedented range of production equipment. With a total of over 50 OB production and mobile edit/replay vehicles of which 17 are HD and 35 SD it is small wonder that an organisation like NBC relies upon NEP to provide all of its Olympic facilities.

The sheer range of our production equipment enables us to offer our clients a huge choice, not just of cameras and lenses, but also of vision switchers and routers way beyond the realms of most conventional hire companies.

In terms of fly-pack facilities NEP Visions is able to expand upon its existing portfolio quickly and economically through the de-rigging of OB vehicles, which enables us to respond to the needs of the largest events. For instance, at the Asian Games in Qatar in December 2006 NEP Visions will equip and service 12 separate production galleries across multiple sites at the same time.

NEP Visions’ range of equipment includes:
• Up to 20 different vision switchers including Grass Valley Kalypsos/ Kayaks, the Thomson DD range and Sony 8000 & 7000’s.
• Up to 7 different video routers ranging up to an HD Thomson Trinix with 256 inputs, 512 outputs and 150 individual control panels.
• A range of Telex Adam communications systems including matrices of up to 136 inputs, 136 outputs and over 150 key panels.
