Visions celebrates 25th birthday in style

Raises in excess of £1,500 for Vision Charity

Leading outside broadcast operator NEP Visions held a party at the exclusive London's Living Room at City Hall last night to celebrate its 25th year in the outside broadcast business and used the evening to raise in excess of £1,500 for the Vision Charity.

A raffle, an auction and the proceeds of some fun gaming tables all contributed to the good work of the Vision Charity, the television industry initiative which raises money for the benefit of blind, visually impaired and dyslexic children. The highlight of the evening was the auction for an original violin signed by former Britain's Got Talent contestants - Escala which sold for £750.

"The key to running a successful outside broadcast business is not just great technology but great people," said Steve Jenkins, managing director of NEP Visions. "We have a fantastic, hard working team of people who deliver world class television, day after day, whatever the circumstances. Without them we would not have reached our quarter century as one of the UK's top OB providers".

"The party brings together our own team, our suppliers and of course our clients to celebrate and have fun," he added. "I am really proud that at the same time we could all remember the disadvantaged people that the Vision Charity serves, and could raise a considerable sum for them."

Vision Charity executive director Larry Davis added "it is very refreshing to find new supporters willing to go the extra mile. The opportunity to benefit from Visions' 25th birthday celebrations shows that this industry cares about charity and Vision in particular."
