Visions cover the Champions League and the Cheltenham Festival
Two of sports highest profile events in one week from Visions.
NEP Visions will make sure footie fans catch all the nail-biting action tonight as Manchester United face Inter Milan in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
The outside broadcast company will give viewers around the world the best seat at Old Trafford in the same week as it is providing all the racing from Cheltenham Festival - one of the most high-profile events in the sporting calendar.
As Alex Ferguson's team reach the last 16 and aim for an unprecedented clean sweep of trophies, the tension is mounting - so Visions is on the ball to make sure host broadcaster Sky and Italian state broadcaster RAI don't miss a crucial second.
Visions is fielding a crew of 90 to provide premier coverage including three state-of-the-art HD production units. Of the 30 HD cameras, three are high-speed slow-mo and several are remote. There will also be a dozen EVS machines in the tapeless replay and edit truck.
A total of 26 fully-equipped commentary positions will be made available for international broadcasters.
Director of Operations, John Turnbull, explains, "A standard Premier League game would typically use 15 to 20 cameras, but the world-class coverage we provide for Sky means we are providing the same number of cameras as we did for the UEFA Champions League final in 2008."
