One 'Hell' of an OB!

September 2007

ITV's Hells Kitchen Series 3

In September 2007 Visions provided the outside broadcast facilities for ITV's reality program Hell's Kitchen series 3. The two week series was delivered using Visions state of the art flypack systems including the large production gallery, vision engineering and reality camera systems.

Based in London's 3 Mills Studios the series saw Marco Pierre White take 10 celebrity chefs through the 'Hell' of preparing three course meals for a restaurant full of celebs! Throughout the series viewers voted for their favourite chefs to keep them in the heat of Hell's Kitchen with the resulting winner being ex-boxer Barry McGuigan.

The final nights show peaked with a viewing audience of 6.3 million! The kitchen, restaurant, celeb 'reality' living area and crew catering facility filled out 4 large studios, with the Visions flypack equipment being housed in a portacabin 'village' bordering the studios.

The show was a huge ratings and technical success and congratulation are due to Unit Manager, Nigel Spong and the rest of the Visions team for their efforts on another successful season in Hell!
